Nikko

about

The City of Nikko was officially established in June 2025 at 7:05a. Nikko is built and managed on Cities: Skylines II, a game developed by Colossal Order and Iceflake Studios, published by Paradox Interactive. Nikko sits in the northern hemisphere with a sunny climate. We're stopping only at imagination, and starting to create the city of your dreams with green open spaces, and be a place for you to live, work, and play.

David Hu

David Hu is the founder and mayor of the City, graduating from elementary school in 2025. Homeschooled since third grade, Hu uses his free time to learn about city building, planning, and development.

David has been a part of the City of Nikko since day one. Since 2025, when the city was officially established, he has been working hard on city planning, development, and management, as well as setting the vision for our city. We are glad to have David serving on the Nikko City Council as Mayor and City Manager.

Hudson

I’m Hudson, the City of Nikko’s Public Information Officer. My role is to help keep our community informed, inspired, and connected to the work happening across the city. I support City Hall by sharing updates, writing for the Office of the Mayor, and helping translate planning ideas and projects into clear, friendly communication for residents.

Most days, you’ll find me drafting updates about new parks, neighborhood plans, and the steady growth of our innovation and office districts. I also help document the city’s progress as we continue building Nikko into a thoughtful, master-planned community—one that values open space, walkable streets, and long-term sustainability.

In short, I help tell Nikko’s story and make sure our residents know what’s happening, why it matters, and where we’re headed next.

The City of Nikko is on its way to becoming the ultimate city of your dreams, with over eight thousand workplaces, a 0% crime rate, accessible public transportation carrying over fifteen hundred passengers monthly, and professional healthcare services, offering the city a surprising 66% average health. Public school teachers are carefully selected and care for your child as much as their own and teach practical life skills. Plus, can we talk about the landscaping? So refreshing.
