City Services
A breakdown of the city services to be constructed in the city.
Without city services, a city cannot survive. Just imagine a city with no healthcare, education, or even electricity. Here’s our plan for city services and utilities.
Healthcare & Deathcare
Medical clinics and hospitals provide healthcare for the sick and ambulance transportation for those too sick or injured to travel to the medical facilities by themselves. We will be constructing a medical clinic for that matter. A crematorium will be built once we find a suitable location and have enough money. Hospitals will be coming in a few years when the city reaches a higher population milestone and higher demand.
Garbage Management
Keeping our environment clean is a must, so we are planning to have a landfill to store the trash. A recycling center is also planned for construction in the future to separate the usable parts from the garbage and turn them into resources that can be used by manufacturing companies to produce goods.
Education & Reasearch
Education is an important service for a successful city. We will be constructing elementary schools, high schools, colleges, and a university as we partner with the University of Cities: Skylines II to build an educational campus in the future. We will also be including research buildings on the UCS2B campus, but more on that when we establish more plans.
Fire & Rescue
Fire & rescue services are very important for a safe city and to put out fires in the city. We will be constructing our very first firehouse as soon as we can. Fire stations, firewatch towers, emergency shelters, and early disaster warning systems will be constructed later when the city reaches a higher population milestone.
Police & Administration
Police keep the city in order, police stations send out patrol vehicles, and therefore, crime rates will decrease. Police stations will come with jails; however, prisons are not included, so prisons will be constructed for the serious criminals in the city. City hall is a must for a thriving city, as the Home Team needs offices to do planning and work. City Hall will begin construction when we have enough funds. A welfare office will be constructed in the near future to keep the well-being of our citizens high by providing funds when our citizens are unemployed. A central bank and a prison will start their construction later.
Public Transportation
As the city grows, more people will be on the streets, out and about. We will offer a variety of public transportation services, including trains, trams, ships, and air travel. The focus will be on buses, which we’re hoping to debut later this year.
Parks & Recreation
We want to provide our citizens with parks and recreation to fulfill the need for leisure and fun parks, including playgrounds, plazas, sports fields, pools, water parks, skate parks, tennis courts, and outdoor gyms, + many more!
Communications
Postal services are a way we connect with the outside world physically, and wireless networks allow us to connect to the outside world digitally. We will be providing both services very soon.
We are excited to see what things will be coming our way as we establish a new city that is planned carefully!
