At the City of Nikko, we believe that a master-planned city is only as good as its connections. That’s why Mayor David and our planning teams have been working tirelessly to unveil our latest expansion of dedicated, high-comfort bike infrastructure!

From the shaded corridors of our residential villages to the bustling plazas of the Riverstone Town Center, these aren’t just lines on the road—they are your new scenic route to work, school, and the beach. By prioritizing separated lanes and intuitive signaling, we’re making sure that choosing two wheels over four is the safest, easiest, and most refreshing part of your day.

Join the "City Hall Commuter Challenge!"

To celebrate these new paths, Mayor David has issued a challenge to our very own City Hall team! This Friday, you’ll see our department heads and office staff swapping their car keys for helmets. We’re hitting the trails to prove that the "Nikko Commute" can be a highlight, not a chore.

Refreshments at Serene Creek Homes Communities!

To keep your spirits high and your pedals moving, our friends at Serene Creek Homes will be hosting a Hydration Station in all of their neighborhoods (Riverstone, Sandstone Beach, and Willowbank)! Stop by for chilled infused water and fresh local fruit on your way through! It’s the perfect spot to take a breather and enjoy the nature and open spaces of Nikko.

Why go by bike?
  • A Greener Nikko: Every pedal stroke helps preserve our pristine coastal air.

  • Wellness on the Way: Turn your commute into a workout and arrive at the office energized.

  • Convenience Reimagined: Skip the parking search and ride straight to the front door of your favorite local spots.

We invite all our residents to join us! Snap a photo of your commute on our new lanes and tag the @cityofnikko. Let’s show the world how a modern city moves.
